- Best time to visit: The best time to visit ABCD Beach for surfing is from June to November, when the waves are at their peak and the weather is favorable. For the beginners, it is best to come during the summer season (January to March) as the waves are only at 2 to 3 feet high.
- Accommodation: There are limited accommodation options near ABCD Beach, so it’s recommended to book accommodations in advance, especially during peak season. You may check out Calicoan Villa, The Grey Inn, Balai Pacifico, Wave House, and Casa Nala.
- Transportation: To reach ABCD Beach, visitors can take a ferry from Matag-ob Port in Leyte to Calicoan Island and then rent a motorcycle or tricycle to get to the beach. For a more convenient alternative, you may take a flight to Tacloban City then travel by land for 3-4 hours to Calicoan Island or via Borongan Airport then travel by land for 2-3 hours to Calicoan Island.
